Quick report
- Collapsing
- widespread
It got hot today up to 12,500+ and snow was wet and transitional. We saw a little cornice fail which ended up entraining a significant amount of snow to form a ~D2 avalanche. We observed a couple other natural wet loose avalanches. Rollerballs rapidly entrained large amounts of snow and small point releases entrained a lot of wet snow. We trigged some wet loose activity with our skiing as well. While skinning on flat and sloped terrain, collapses in the snow pack were frequent.
