Quick report
Travelled conservatively up the lower angle trees lookers left of V Bowl. Snow surfaces ranged from light powder, denser powder, and slightly slabbier wind affected snow (mostly N or S slopes). Very warm temps, no large roller balls from our travel though. In most areas, each step would initiate a small (~foot-long) crack from the tip of the ski, pointed directly down the slope. This with our pit suggest the new snow didn't bond especially well to the old surface, but was not cohesive enough to propagate. Dug at pit at '9300 on an ENE aspect. HS 240cm. ECTN12 at ~30cm below the surface. New snow was not cohesive enough to form a slab. Some S facing test slopes had wind affect/cornice-like features from an apparent N wind. Avalanche
2 wet loose avalanches at ~10k feet, sometime before 2pm. Originated from rocky chutes.
