White Queen

Skinned up to the White Queen ridge from the nordic parking lot at Whitewater, did not notice any signs of instability on the way up. Dug a pit at the top and rode down. No signs of instability on the ride down. Snow for the first 3 quarters of the way down was light and fluffy, bottom quarter was much heavier.

Sudden failure 70cm down the 21st impact of a compression test. 22nd impact caused a sudden failure 145cm down. Performed another compression test in the same area and only observed the failure on the layer 70cm down on the 22nd impact.
