Ursus creek

Witnessed numerous wet snow class 1-2 avalanches on steep south and souteast aspects slopes overhanging Ursus creek. Also, big cornices are overhanging most of the north aspect of the ridgeline linking Catamount, Bagheera and McGill. Observed easy result on a compression test on the top 15cm wind slab in the bowl north of catamount pass. These conditions made for tricky travel under potential cross-fire on the skin track up Ursus creek.
