Living in a haze...in Elkford.

Today in Elkford we found 25 cm of light dry snow over a solid and supportive crust that begins to taper and become less supportive around 2200 m. Below this crust, the snowpack is faceted. The total depth was 135 cm. There was very limited previous wind effect and the day was cold and calm and there was no new avalanche activity. We skied an open alpine feature where you could feel the crust but the skiing was decent.
