Ice climbing - Amadeus

-8 at the vehicle at 1:15pm. -12 at 6:45pm. 5cm of new snow over night. Wind has emptied snow from the bowl (no threat from overhead). Our tracks were covered in on the descent from wind during our climb and there were signs of thin soft slab formation in the gully on descent. The transition onto the rock slab does not have ice to assist until you have gained the ledge. Ice in good quality. Vertical to slightly overhanging. Good screw placement opportunities.
