Dug a pit on 30’ slope S.E. facing, open Trees adjacent to riding slope. 4 distinguished layers found, storm slab (130-100cm) wind slab overlying facets (100-80cm) rain crust(80cm) followed my facets to ground Compression test showed failure over wind slab layer. Test showed no result over rain crust, however possibly tracked out from prior weeks skiing.
