Lots of settlement at 2400m

Lapped Grizzly trees multiple times. Lots of wind effect at treeline and alpine circa 2350m and higher. Had at least 15 settlements at treeline in open terrain on the basal layers and then stopped counting. Treeline was a mix of wind skin, crust and slab. Made for hooky skiing. S facing trees skied great - snow was supportive but not as fast as expected (still quite cold). Didn’t trigger any slabs but stayed at 30’ or less - some of the settlements were quite large and I would’ve felt quite out of my element on a 45 deg piece of alpine terrain hearing that …
