Quick Observation

Skinned up to about 2150m in the south facing Paget slide path. Skied one full lap of the runout and one shorter 150m lap where we found the best snow. Path had previously released before the cold snap but the debris had been creamed/crusted out enough to avoid feeling most of it. There is also now about 5-10cm of new snow on top of it all. The top section had breakable crust but the bottom 2/3rds skied well. Tree skiing back to the summer trail also skied well for those who are able to ski such terrain. System looked to be coming in waves, a little bit of sun and a dusting of new snow during the day.
