I don't remember when I've seen the East Fork Bear Drainage look this white and filled in, normally this is a very thin and sparse area.
- This slope on the ridge between the East Fork Bear and Mill Creek clearly gets worked over by winds mainly from the south and even some northwest winds.
- If you poke around enough you can find those places that stay thin and the snow pack is nothing but loose facets that sluff easily on steep slopes.
Snowpack

- <p>No wind issues where I traveled today, but would think a few isolated soft wind slabs could be found with the few new inches and a bump in winds. </p>
A wide variety of snow conditions today with a few inches of low density snow covered some of the old hard wind slabs. Any terrain that was open to the recent winds from last week has been worked over and sheltered slopes on the north side of the compass have the best riding and turning.
