Commonwealth creek

Skied up commonwealth creek drainage to get a look at current conditions. Observed an avalanche of off steep NE aspect of mount birdwood. Hard to tell the size due to low vis. but I think at least size 2. Skied skiers right “bunny ear” path on south aspect of tryst ridge. Tough trail breaking and average HS of 60cm. Finished the day with some fun turns in the mellow boulder field/ trees below commonwealth lake. Ski quality was much better but saw lots of cracking in the soft storm slab.
