Montana Ridge RMR Backcountry

Rapid temperature rise, 3 degrees at tree line. Inversion. No wind. No precip. Observed multiple slab avalanches on norther facing slopes. One wet avalanche on south facing. Sizes ranging from 1-2. Dug a full profile. CTM14 RP down 35cm on FC 1.5mm. Storm slab. Repeat results x2.

Temperature inversion.

Storm slab was reactive. No results on the MFcr down 75 on south aspects near Ridgeline. High temperature gradient in the upper snowpack.
