ECTP 12 down 45 cm on a 5cm F facet layer (to 3mm). Some settling occuring, but mainly limited to BTL in sheltered glades, or in wind affected very shallow southern exposures. Other exposures observed (M and NE) are showing continued facet development and depth hoar. Easy to moderate CT results (SC) confirm weakness down 30 to 45 cm, with a slab developing over top. A classic upside down snowpack at all elevations and all aspects. Several sz 2 avalanches in the last cycle, with one suspected sz 3 in the past week. However, most of the prone areas have released, and any paths still holding snow are below threshold. Ski quality was actually pretty good considering how little it has snowed recently, but we kept to the trees and conservative terrain.
