Whitewater

Went up to hummingbird pass then right, up the ridge to the top of White Queen. Strong winds coming from the NE froze our faces and kept us in the trees all day. We saw a lot of wind slab formation along the ridge and experienced large settlements in safe terrain. Surface hoar appeared to be 15-20cm down except where it was buried deeper in lee areas. Skied down thru tight trees back to the car, triggering one 10cm slab along the way which was very small and didn't move.
