Noted a handful of D1 wet loose avalanches in the newest snow on solar aspects once exposed to sun.

Dug on a NNW aspect ca. 10,600ft on the north end of Bald Mountain. A blanket of stellars lay atop the older snow, right side up from F to 1F until a melt-freeze crust at the bottom of the pack. Found a bit of rounding facets atop the crust, with preserved dry facets beneath. Total snow height was about 60cm on average, but varied with wind loading (deeper) and sun exposure (shallower).
