Forecaster Comments:
Jeff Brown went to investigate on 1/3/98 and said it was an old snow avalanche failed on a layer that formed on 12/21-1/1. The farther it ran, the deeper it stepped down. Approximately 1/3 down the track it ran to facets near the ground. No shear on the crown face. "Disease Bowl"
