Thin windslab avalanche cycle that ran in the last 12hours on the Illecilewaet side, 10cm deep & all less than size 1 above 1750m on steep convexities, North facing. The snow feels quite rotten with wind effect below toe of glacier from catabatics and cold temperatures facetting the snow. On the Look Out Col side (south facing) CTE-M (SP) x 3 down 25cm in the start zone only. But the skiing was excellent coming down. The Ravens was awesome but riders could feel hard old surfaces under the recent new snow.
