White Rabbits

We skied at Mount Charles near Pass Lake today. Poor visibility due to low cloud and snow kept us out of the alpine today. 5cm of fresh snow now sits on a range of surfaces from wind slabs at treeline to crusts near the valley bottom. Below this interface the snowpack has settled into a pretty dense and consolidated mass. While skiing was mostly dust on crust we had fun on steep lines in open trees.
