Road still goes to get up to McRae but pretty slippy on the way down. Skiing was okay to good in most areas. Mostly wind affected terrain anywhere near the west ridge of McRae Peak but the east ridge had some better snow quality. Temps ranged from -2 to >0 degrees as you descend into tree line. FZL was around 2100m at 1500 hours. No avalanche activity noted nor any signs of major instability on east or north east aspects. Nice to take the skis out for a walk regardless.
