Mount Cain west bowl southern most part towards the bottom of death chute. Our second lap through we tried to investigate a line with a more convex entry point. Snow has been increasing and Wind had picked up and was likely cross loading the gullies. Ski cut on a very small pillow/drift at the top of the convexity resulted in a small initial slide but then a fairly large propagation across the upper slope. Crown was approximately 20cm of wind affected storm snow.
Ski cut of a pillow at the top of a convex roll resulted in a propagation and size 1 slide. No skiers caught or affected.
