Quick Observation
We rode prospector bowl for a couple laps. New snow noticeably heavier with the recent warm temps. Both wind slab around ridgeline and storm slab lower down were quite touchy. Notably, a ski cut from wh2o pro patrol at ridgleline above the skin track and our group a 4m x 30cm deep storm slab in prospector trees (no involvement). Still pow skiing so pretty stoked on that! No pics or other avi obs as we were skiing in a cloud all day with minimal vis.
Snowpack
WH2O Patrol had a nice profile dug for avalanche awareness days. Nice to chat with the pros on about whats going on in the snowpack. Most notably an ECT test with easy result (3) sudden drop on a SH Layer from mid last week. We saw both wind slab and storm slab release on this layer during our ski day.
