Kootenay Pass Dec 26-27

Had a good time skiing the Kootenay Pass on Dec 26 and 27. Did the Baldy rocks the first day and then couple mellow hills towards the Crags on the second day. Overall great condition for the person from the coast. The coverage was good, got one shark on a steeper slope. Some breakable crust at the lower part of the Baldy, fresh powdery snow at the Crags with a touch of heaviness to it. No avalanche conditions were observed. Also met people who attempted to ski Lightning Strike on Dec 27 and they were saying it was quite mediocre and the coverage wasn't good.
