Don’t be fooled by the snow depth in our pit picture. Lots of early season hazards still lurking, with a lot of water still moving on the ground. Varied coverage, with a plethora of crust defining the snowpack. 15cm of new, low density snow sitting on the most recent melt/freeze crust. Not quite enough snow to relax, and enjoy the ride yet in this area. No avalanche activity observed.
