Today we went out south of the lake. After battling through a solid surface refreeze we popped up to 2000 m where it was already +5 at 10am.
Skinng up, we were expecting to find a spicy surface hoar problem, but with only 5 cm over top there wasn't enough slab to be a concern.
The sun was warming up steep slopes causing some roller balls, and making the snow heavy on lower angle slopes. North facing terrain stayed dry and soft which made for excellent riding.
