3 to 4 inches of new snow from last night. The current wind slab problem appeared to be mostly confined to this new snow in the area. Minor sluffing in steep terrain.
Easterly facing slopes at ~11,600 or 11,700 were starting to get cooked. Low-angle slopes up to our high point had a breakable crust under the new snow that would have made for poor ski quality. Snow quality on northerly facing slopes began to decrease below about 10,300ft. .
We found good stability while avoiding some of the most obvious wind-loaded terrain.
