We observed cracking and signs of wind slab as we transitioned into the tree line and the alpine. Good riding in sheltered places.

Intense wind event rolled in at 3PM, with a pulse of snowfall. Lots of active snow transport extending down below tree line.

Surface hoar is decomposing and produced no remarkable results in 3 test profiles today.
