Observation sub peak

Saw a slab probably the Jan 11 layer from Wednesday from steep rocky unsupported terrain but no current signs of instability. Skied the front face of observation sub peak and in unsheltered locations the snow was crusty and wind affected but below the ridge like features the snow was creamy and soft.
