Enough snow to mostly cover up the old tracks. At the top of the tree triangle found strong winds with very strong gusts from SW in the morning and shifting to the NE in the afternoon build reactive wind slabs. Observed an avalanche from this morning that pulled a wind slab at the bottom of the fan on East aspect. Felt dangerous in the alpine. Had whumpfing and cracking.in the uptrack in the trees near the lake at 1850m where the midpack had started to facet out.
