Remote trigger of the entire Video Peak from 200m away: We grouped up in the last protected spot before the Crux of the Video Peak uptrack. I went out to investigate and experienced an earthquake-like "whumph" that lasted for what seemed to be 5 seconds. Even before the whumph had finished, I was high-tailing it back to the protected cave where the group was waiting. We estimated a size 2.5 avalanche that ran at least 350m in length, with crowns of 1m-20cm @ 2500m, east aspect. No involvements and no tracks buried. We exited Hospital Gully and had descent turns.
