Ski cut few sz1 storm slabs down 10-15cm on small surface hoar & surface facets. Recent storm snow became reactive in PM due to rapid settlement of H2D with rising freezing levels, warming air temps & intermittent solar input. Suspect this avalanche problem should settle out fast (1-3days) although its something to watch for this week on steep, sheltered, due north aspects, TL & above. Soft slabs broke up fast once initiated, although ran far given the size of slabs released.

Easy hand shears down 10-15cm with Fist to 4F soft slab overlying small surface hoar & small surface faceted grains.
