Quick Observation

Today we intended to skin up and assess the snow pack. Snow depth was about 150 cm, probed in a few places, at 1950 m elevation. Mildly sheltered by trees. We found no new significant storm snow, and a solid snow pack with no significant layers of concern. The snow was firm at elevation, but became decent in old growth trees.
