Up to 10 cm powder tapering with elevation with no wind effect overlies a widespread and in places bulletproof wind / temperature? crust on all aspects up to at least 2450 m. Had to take skis off and kick steps for a short bit on the uptrack. The crust mostly carries a skier’s weight but is chattery to ride. At least it’s cold out.
