Coquihalla Lakes

First time skiing the Coq this season. Chose the lakes as a conservative destination to sus out storm slab problem. Truck temp was -12c at 0900~. Broke trail from the bathrooms to cell tower. Ski pen was between 30-40cms. Pole probes showed right side up snowpack throughout storm snow. Hand shears produced non planar breaks in areas with suspected wind transport. SE aspect, 1420m. -10.2. Light SW wind. HS 175. CTM15 down 40 on storm snow interface. No surprises. Fun day. Skied a variety of terrain features up to 30 degrees~.
