Bald Hills

Good snow coverage for this location at this time of year with an HS at TL of 60-80 cm and in the alpine at our test site location 60-120 cm. There was minimal whumpfing and no sign of recent avalanche activity. Our profile, at 2,200 m approx, on an E facing slope with an HS of 115 cm had a CTH 26 RP down 30 on DF 1. We had a hard breaks on the Nov 4th crust (we think) 30 cm above the ground. Overall the stability at that site felt moderate. The snowpack was supportive and there were some good turns to be had.
