Quick Observation

Evidence of natural activity in the past 48-72hours off of the south ridge of mt carnavon. Skiied emerald slide path from the peak, top was nice wind filled winter skiing in more polar aspects, middle was horrible crust and the bottom turned to nice shmooie spring skiing conditions.

Avalanche Information

Na sz 2 likely due to cornice failure triggering wind slab in the immediate lee, 30-40 cm deep, 20m wide, running ~400m. On a SE aspect at aprox 2300m within the last 48-72 hours with the start zone already beginning to reload

Weather

Winds built through the day gusting to strong at ridge top. No rain was experienced just cant seem to delete the rain rate input.
