We travelled up to around 1900 m today where we just got high enough that there wasn't a crust. The recent new snow has settled to about 10 cm and was bonding well to the old surfaces. We dug on a north aspect at treeline and had no results in the top 150 cm. On our way in and out we were looking for natural avalanches and we spotted only 1 small wet loose from extreme west facing terrain. Apart from that there were a couple of size 1-2s that appear to have happened during the storm (they were partly covered by the new snow). Still great riding in the high north facing terrain!
