Katherine Lake

Rock solid icy crusty skin up to Katherine Lake but gaining the peak climbers from the col where you would normally ski down to continue dolomite traverse was worth it for some nice soft powdery turns (on top of a crust) despite the poor visibility. Solid crust in the Alpine, observed a couple 0.5 slides up high in the avalanche path crossings on the way back. Warmed up significantly once back in the valley.
