Quick Observation

15 cm overnight with moderate to strong wind from the south made for easily 30-40cm ski penetration in the sheltered north facing features of Ruedi's and Molars. 20-25 cm over the suncrust on the solars we climbed. Evidence of a small loose dry cycle overnight to SZ 1.5 from small cornice falls on some north facing features. Some isolated denser stormslabs near ridge top near the summit of the Repeater. Repeater ENE was knee deep (50cm ski penetration!) on the skiers right side. Mostly clear skies in the morning but convective clouds rolled in late morning and lead to some periods of moderate convective flurries (up to S3) for the rest of the day resulting in an additional 5-10cm accumulation. Amazing April skiing!
