Deep and sticky at Taylor Lake

Taylor lake trail is fully covered. New snow was very wet and sticky, wish we had brought skin wax. Lake is frozen. Remove your skins before crossing to avoid soaking them in the slush on the lake until it gets colder. Skied the moraines above the lake/below bell couloir. No signs of instability there, however sloughing was constant off the cliffs/gully’s in the alpine above. Deepest day I’ve ever had in November I think
