Red Heather

Skied North West facing slopes in trees above red heather. Total snow pack depth 125cm. Snow was 20cm of powder on top of rain crust. We dug a pit at 1450 facing NW on 30 degree slope with SCT 15 with resistant planar down 30cm on rain crust. ECT gave a resistant fracture on the rain crust but did not propagate ECTN 13
