Gin Peak Hanging lake

We skied 3 laps off the north side of Gin peak. Surface hoar found all on all aspects and the way to ridge top. We observed SH on the S SE aspects melt throughout the day. We observed no evidence of instability from our assessments and noted some very steep and unsupported lines had been skied the previous day/days On N SW and W aspects. Lots of time before the next snowfall but we should continue to monitor this SH layer in sheltered areas.
