Around 15 - 17" of new snow around 6200 feet from yesterday and days before. Top 10cm of new snow is denser and wetter than the new snow below. Most of this new snow is residing on a buried layer of near surface facets that sits on top of a stout rain crust. Snow surface was damp and observed minor roller balling on slopes.

Heard plenty of thundering collapsing on flat terrain and noticed shooting cracks on rollovers. Did not see any significant activity but the signs are there.
