Travel today was 6k-8,500'
Broken Sky in the morning, with moments of clearing
Little to no wind.
Lower elevation was saved by a drop in temperature. Found 3" of new snow at the trailhead, with up to 6" on yesterdays new snow. New snow was a mix of graupel and stellars. Hazard today consisted of long running loose snow. Seems like it rained up to 7500', and snow was saturated under the new light snow. No cracking or collapse, or evidence of new wind slabs, in this zone. Just good powder riding on a supportable crust.
