Observation: Stairs Gulch

Had a lovely day skiing a lap in Bonkers and then back up and out Stairs. Lots of evidence of recent winds. No slab or connectivity noted in Bonkers. The slope saw full sun so likely will have some crust tomorrow. The top of Stairs had a 2" wind slab on top of weak facets. No connectivity or instabilities noted. Stairs skied a mixed bag of soft snow/ windboard/ firm crust as to be expected when skiing a windward aspect. Skiers right does not have any open glides, yet.
