Weather
- Cloud Cover
- broken
The clouds came, went, then came back again... A tricky day to choose the correct (low light vs dark) sunglass/ goggle lenses... Temps certainly warmed up, but not as warm as it could have been w/ more sun...
Snowpack
About 6in of low density dry snow at the trailhead. No signs of recent wind up high- recent light snowfall was sitting on top of wind scoured thin snow above 6,800ft. Below 6,800ft we found "hot pow" conditions and snow sticking to the bases of our skis and boards by 1:00pm.
Avalanche
D1-1.5 loose wet activity observed on steep solar exposed slopes in the MF corridor around 3pm today. No wet slab activity observed.
