Quick report
We snowmobiled on numerous aspects from 3500 feet to 5700 feet and skied a NW aspect from approximately 6800 feet to 4800 feet. We observed a relatively shallow aspect on this NW aspect at 6800 feet (130-140 cm). Because of this shallow snowpack combined with the steep and rocky terrain, we decided to ski down the ridge to a less steep entrance to our intended line. We triggered several small dry sluffs that ran 100-200 vertical feet on slopes steeper than 35 degrees. The surface snow was very unconsolidated, and we did not observe any recent wind slab problems throughout the terrain we visited today. Surface snow became heavier at lower elevations due to increasing sunshine and warming as the day progressed. Overall, great riding and skiing.

Several small (D1 and smaller) wet loose avalanches observed from north fork road on sunny aspects in the Apgar Range around 4-5 pm. Most originated near rocks and cliffs.
