Quick report
Much to our amazement no wind today! Recent storm snow is settling a bit, with only a hint of soft storm slab development. As per usual polar aspects the best, everything else is variable. Did include a picture of what I believe was a wind slab induced failure, about 3 feet thick. Notable that it extended and included old growth timber and what I believe most of us would consider reasonably sheltered/safe terrain.
