Quick report
We found excellent skiing on northern aspects and conditions that deteriorated quickly from the solar blast on southern aspects. Some party members regretted their wax choices (or lack thereof) and everyone brought out the skin wax. After one south facing run we returned to the shady north where the snow remained cold and dry. In steeper terrain the heavy wet snow on S aspects may have been more of a problem, but with mild terrain choices we interacted with no obvious instabilities. The sun came out and cooked the snow on south aspects creating heavy, moist, gloppy conditions, especially at lower elevations. We did not observe any substantial roller ball action, however.

Snowpack
There was 8-12 inches of fresh snow on top of a firm layer making for fun, playful skiing. We observed no wind effect in the zone.
Avalanche
We observed small loose wet slides off route in the afternoon at the base of a cliff band on a steep south aspect from snow shedding off of the rocks.
