Quick report
Went out for a short tour up the baseball knob in the mammoth knolls to look at the snow pack. Snow depth on NNW aspect near the top was about 100cm. Snow pack had no distinct layers and was not consolidated at all even at the base of the snow pack. The biggest challenge of the day was unconsolidated snow anywhere there was brush under the snow made both uphill and down hill travel difficult.
