Skied up to bishop Bowl above Aspendell on 2/5 and 2/6. Cracking was widespread and very large/loud whumphing was observed several times, towards the top of the bowl we heard whumphing every 20-30 meters. On 2/6 only one large whumph was observed, when the weight of two people were there. A pit was dug in the windslab at the top of the bowl, where the snow was finger hard until the facets were reached at the bottom of the snowpack.
